INSULATING
Cork is the best natural insulator (λ= 0,04)
It resists temperature flucuations from -120°C à + 180° C.
It never overheats and cannot burn the skin under harsh sun, as teak and plastic decking does. It retains a warm and comfatable temperature at all times, ondeck and underdeck.
Cork absorbs readily sound waves of all ranges. It insulates from exterior and cabin and engine room noises.
It absorbs engine and electric pump vibrations.
